In 2007, Visa asked Method to redesign its Business Solutions website. The existing site, targeted at small business owners, had sluggish traffic. Method was tasked with upgrading the user experience, making the entire site more engaging and in line with Visa's brand.
As Cake Financial's founders were gathering funding and developing their back-end systems, they approached Method to help them create an interface for their product - a financial information site using social networking at a deeper level than had been tried before.
