The iPhone has quickly become "the" model for what a mobile interactive experience should look and feel like. With version 3 of the iPhone OS and SDK, Apple will once again up the ante on the capabilities of the iPhone and iPod Touch proving that the platform is truly only bound by the creative imagination.
From a purely technical perspective, the sandbox of the SDK and nuances of Objective C notwithstanding, the possibilities are almost endless as to what technical wizardry can be conceived on the device. The applications of its peer connectivity, dock connector, Open GL rendering, iPod library access, and location
aware services will allow us to breathe new life into many existing web solutions, thereby allowing untapped revenue streams to be realized and new customer touch points to be established.
To this end, at Method we're looking closely at the capabilities of the device with its new OS, experimenting with ideas around its usage and aiming to execute our creative ideas on the device in ways that were never thought possible.
