boxee, a venture-acceleration, Method Ventures client, announced their public alpha in early June (downloadable from www.boxee.tv). boxee integrates offline and online media with social networking and overlays the platform with an intuitive, TV-like interface that's easily controlled by remote. boxee's free, downloadable software lets you share information about what you're watching and listening to with friends. This shared entertainment experience, available on computers or TVs, takes personal and streaming media to a whole new level.

Method's initial objective was to ensure rapid user adoption by creating a powerful brand and award-winning identity, and by designing an intuitive product interface across all communications and touch points. Highlighting the user experience for both boxee's software and website, Method created a strategic brand identity and design language for the interface. In tandem with boxee management, Method worked to help define the product feature set and validated it against competitive products.
