Interface Innovation
Kevin Farnham
Chief Experience Officer Kevin Farnham recently spoke at the HOW Design Conference in Boston. Like HOW magazine, the HOW Design Conference recognizes that graphic design is a business as well as an art. The annual event, launched in 1991, aims to provide a hands-on, educational program to enable designers to better balance the three key components of graphic design: creativity, business and technology. Conference sessions cover a mix of these three critical design issues, with particular emphasis on creative and business topics.
In his presentation, available via the link above as a PDF download, Farnham took an in-depth look at inspirational user interfaces. He shares the processes behind many of Method's projects, as well as some common patterns in user interface innovation.
