OverviewThis position requires someone with both visual design skills and strong abilities with Flash, and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with motion graphics and animation and the ability to jump into new technologies as needed are also highly desirable.
This position will requires that he/she interacts with clients as needed, whether via phone, email or in-person.
Primary Responsibilities- Work closely with Design and User Experience team members to define customer requirements and formulate the technical needs to implement.
- Develop leading interactive elements to support the design
- Follow and track changes in the technology landscape
- Contribute to methodology/process and knowledge repository, wikis, blogs, etc.
Qualifications- Strong experience and expert-level skills with Flash, Actionscript AS3, CS3 Suite, and HTML.
- Understanding of Web development technologies and appropriate use
- Knowledge of web construction and a suitable build for usability and effective integration
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Willingness to take direction well
- Ability to translate Design elements into the motion space, 3DCG
or broadcast experience is a plus
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong sense of ownership of process and results
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Education: College degree in a related field and 3-5 years industry experience as a Web Designer or like role
