Claus Nehmzow brings over 25 years of international business strategy and branding experience to Method, where he leads the firm's expansion into international markets.
Prior to joining Method, Claus was partner at PA Consulting, where he helped clients apply virtual world immersive experiences to a wide range of business problems. His "Second Life" incarnations of PA's office and online conferences - including UK Sunday Times and Financial Times events - have been widely hailed as pioneering and successful. He has also developed numerous business pilots in this 3D world. He is a frequent speaker at global conferences as well as on radio and TV about the topic.
At the leading mobile music recognition company Shazam Entertainment, Claus was an early angel investor. He served as Chief Operating Officer and Director of International Business, helping to build up the company from scratch to a presence in 20 countries, until a partial sale of the company in 2005.
At the multi-disciplinary web and e-business firm Viant, Claus was part of the European Management team and General Manager of Viant Germany, which he set up and grew to 30 people.
Prior to joining Viant in 1999, Claus was partner at Booz Allen Hamilton, the strategy and technology consultancy, in London and New York, and Senior Manager at Accenture in New York and Zurich. Claus has worked for clients in a number of industries, including Financial Services, Healthcare, and Media & Entertainment.
Claus has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Hamburg University, Germany. He currently lives in London and Hong Kong.
